Penelope Gilbert-Ng - Thursday Mornings 9:30am - 12:30pm - Watercolour
This 10-week course runs from 1 May to 3 July.
Develop your watercolour technique with Penelope Gilbert - Ng! This class is best suited to an Intermediate skill level (basic watercolour experience or experience in a different painting/drawing medium), however beginners are also welcome. Penelope introduces this course with the understanding of paper wetness and watercolour mixing techniques, using small imagery on the first day. Initially, you will explore Still-Life, building up to subsequent weeks of Landscapes from photos and finally Figures from photos. Will always be mindful of watercolour processes, exploring ways to tell a story. This beautiful medium is expressive and once the understanding of the processes are understood the artist will express in their own way the joy of watercolour!
